(Dig a Hole Through the Ground and You Will Find This: An Illustration show)集合了分别位于地球两端的八位当代插画艺术家。

Dig a Hole Through the Ground and You Will Find This gathers eight artists of a same generation, four China-based illustrators and four Chile-based, who have been invited to portray daily life spaces of the city they live in, and through that, creating an encounter between two realities that often ignore the everydayness in the other.
The distance between Eastern and Western cultures creates a questioning in the perception of the other's vision of the world and how it affects the artists' proposals, in which clichés and judgement become a threatening enemy to what wants to be communicated at an inter-continental level. This exhibition allows us to be a witness to a tiny space of reality, a neighborhood scene, a small chunk of a city that is shown through the eyes of these eight artists, inviting us to be a part of it.
If we actually dig a hole through the ground, where would it take us to? How far can we stretch out the concept of globalization, to the point of saying that distances don't matter anymore? Without pretending to have an answer to this question, we hope to open a window (or in this case, a tunnel) for you to take a look at our furthest neighbors.
