本展览包括平行的两个内容，一个是香港大学建筑系本科三年级学生在上海为时一学期的教学成果；而另外一个，则是教学活动中产生的文化碰撞，既不同文化背景的学生以“他者”的身份，对于上海城市空间的观察和记录。
这次教学活动围绕地理、景观和基础设施（Geography, Landscape and Infrastructure）三个议题展开。在统一的教学框架下，三位任课老师选择不同的基地，有侧重点地展开教学。教学活动将以文本以及实体模型的方式呈现。这些年轻学子对上海这座城市的观察、梳理和总结，则以影像记录的方式呈现。从课程设计到对城市的影像记录，他们的思考层面涵盖城市形态、历史、文化比较、资本业态、居民个体内心与意识、社会问题等多个主题，以建筑学学生的独特视角为观者打开进入历史、文化、艺术和当下现实空间语境的渠道。
The exhibition consists of two parallel content, one is the result of one semester of the third year of the undergraduate degree of architecture at the University of Hong Kong in Shanghai; the other is the cultural collision produced in the teaching activities, which is for students of different cultural backgrounds. The teaching activities centered on three topics: geography, landscape and infrastructure (geography, landscape and infrastructure). Under the unified teaching framework, the three teachers selected different bases and focused on teaching. Teaching activities will be presented in the form of text and physical models.
