当商场、连锁超市、网店逐渐成为人们日常购物的主战场，菜市场成为了留住一座城市日常“烟火气”的首要阵地。菜市场是一座城市的缩影，是了解当地生活最好的方式之一。在这里，你可以见到最新鲜的食材、了解当地人的饮食偏好，甚至可以学上几句最地道的方言。若是碰上了邻居朋友，聊上几句家常，情感便也得到了巩固。

在东湖路延庆路交叉口，有一个延庆路菜市场，它形成于上世纪90年代，由自行车库改建而成，如今已经成为周边社区居民日常生活中不可或缺的一部分。与菜场一墙之隔的，是衡复微展厅，它在3个月前改造完成，如今正在逐步融入这个城市和地区的文化与生活。

“菜场”与“展厅”，看似相互矛盾的两个场所，却在这里共存。此次，定海桥互助社的“菜篮子工作站”，或许能够为这个特别的场所带来更多有趣的讨论。

展览简介：定海桥互助社很荣幸能够以“菜篮子”为题，成为在Urbancross建立的第一个临时工作站。在为期五周的时间内，工作站作为一个研究、对话与表达的场所，将面向延庆社区的本地居民，以及所有对此城日常生活有所需求的人。延庆路9号在手机地图上显示为“延庆菜店”，它是周边居民满足日常食物需要的场所，也是刚刚开门的Urbancross所背靠的腹地与语境。在过去的三年中，定海桥互助社围绕来社必经之路、也是周围居民生活核心的定海路马路菜场进行了一些观察与探索。在此我们以视频和文本的方式，把过去几年持续进行的工作进行编排与整理，并在工作站期间，在对延庆社区的互动中进行消化、吸收与讨论。工作站在丁酉年的岁末筹备此事，也恰是在我们心情上想回到家庭与饭桌的时刻，开门迎客，祝福新春。

When shopping malls, supermarkets and online stores are gradually becoming the main battlefields of human’s daily shopping, the grocery has become the first destination to maintain the original atmosphere of the city. The grocery is the epitome of the city and one of the best ways to learn about the local life. Here, you can see the freshest ingredients, understand the dietary preferences of local people, even learn some the most authentic dialects. If you meet friends and neighbors, have a small chat will help you reinforce the relationships.

There is a Yanping Road Grocery at the cross of Donghu Road and Yanqing Road. It origins from 1990s, converted from a bicycle garage, and now it has become an indispensable part of daily life in the surrounding communities. Just next to the grocery, URBANCROSS Gallery was renovated three months ago, it is gradually integrating into the culture life in this district and this city.

Grocery and gallery, two seemingly contradictory places, coexist here. Now, Dinghaiqiao Mutual Aid Society The Workshop for Grocery may be able to bring more interesting discussions to this particular place.

Introduction of the exhibition:
Dinghaiqiao Mutual Aid Society is honored to be the first temporary workshop in URBANCROSS Gallery under the title of "Grocery". During five weeks, the workshop is a place for research, dialogue and expression, facing to the residents of Yanqing community and all those who have a need for daily life in this city. No. 9 Yanqing Road is shown as “Yanqing Grocery” on the mobile phone map, it satisfies daily food needs of residents, but is also the hinterland and context of the gallery. In the past three years, Dinghaiqiao Mutual Aid Society has made some observations and explorations on Dinghai Road Grocery, which is the must-pass way to come to the community and the core of the residents' lives.

In the way of videos and texts, we organize and arrange the undergoing work of past few years, digest, absorb and discuss in the interaction with the Yanqing community during the workshop. All the preparation work happens at the end of the Chinese lunar year, it is the moment when we want to return to the family, open to welcome guests and wish you the Chinese New Year.
